Parish News

Posted Wednesday July 8, 2015

Our Bishop, Stephen Lane, has sent a very interesting letter about his observations on the 78th General Convention of the Episcopal Church which has recently concluded. In the news is the election of the Rt. Rev. Michael Curry as Presiding Bishop, the first African-American to hold this post; revision of canons of marriage to permit same-sex unions; and preparation for the revision of the Book of Common Prayer and The Hymnal. Read the full text of the letter here.
